going into defcon28, defcoin had a few blocks a day mined…being a litecoin fork it should have a blocktime of ~3 minutes. Mining pools for DFC have come and gone over time, but none are really there anymore. To fix that, we’re running a p2pool DFC pool thanks to charlesrocket for spearheading that. If you want to add a p2pool node, https://github.com/charlesrocket/p2pool-defcoin.
during dc28, i rented an antminer L3+ so we were sitting at ~500mh for 5 days. Now i got some CPUs power pointed at the pool, but <100kh is like ~5000 times slower…but working on adding more hashrate (less than L3+ tho). If you want to point your scrypt miner at the pool, so far we have 2 nodes (stratum+tcp://ip:9355 to mine ip:9355/static for webpage):
104.156.229.155:9355/static/
dfcp2pool.g4tekeep3r.com
or 157.245.252.251:9355/static/ if you want ip
but abstrct is spinning up a node too. When his is up, ill add it here as well.
stay tuned for updates as improvements to DFC wallet are coming too.
